Implement a Simple Menu

This procedure describes the flow of activities required to implement a simple menu based on Website Categories, in an outer or inner template.

In the relevant template, code a simpleMenu tqTag according to simpleMenu.
NOTE: The title parameter specifies the text displayed on the Site Manager floating command button.
Make sure that you registered the template in tqTag Dashboard, as described in Register Templates.
Make sure that the updated version of the template is uploaded to the Website server, as described in Upload Templates and Related Files.
Make sure that you are logged in to siteAddress/tqtag, as described in Log in to tqTag Site Manager.
If the Languages and Categories navigation panel is not displayed, click .
In the navigation panel, click the Language or Category to which you assigned the outer template (as described in Assign Outer Template to the Website).
On the Content Items page, click Category Settings.
On the parallel topics menu, click Assign Items to Template.
On the transparent menu, click the menu command button.
In the dialog box that opens, select the parent Category of the menu (menu start point).
The top menu level will display the Categories below the parent.
