Implement Dynamic Content
This procedure describes the flow of activities for implementing dynamic content items, for example, news items. The essential step is to include one or more content tqTags, with the dynamicGrow parameter, in an inner or outer template.
To implement dynamic content
- In the relevant template, code a content tqTag according to content.
NOTE: The title parameter specifies the text displayed on the Site Manager transparent command button. - Make sure that you registered the template in tqTag Dashboard, as described in Register Templates.
- Make sure that the updated version of the template is uploaded to the Website server, as described in Upload Templates and Related Files.
- Make sure that you are logged in to siteAddress/tqtag, as described in Log in to tqTag Site Manager.
- If the Languages and Categories navigation panel is not displayed, click
. - (if needed) Create the Category to which you are assigning the content item, as described in Create Website Categories.
- Create one or more content items, as described in Create Content Items.
- (if needed) Perform the relevant procedure of the following:
- Perform Assign Content Items to Categories.
