For tqTag Web Suite templates, Local Variables are variables that you can implement within the scope of a given tqTag, between the opening <tqtag> element and the closing </tqtag> element. General Variables are variables that you can implement anywhere in a template. Although some General Variables are available only within specific template types, others are available within any template type.
