Create a Topic Variant

A tqAdmin (with suitable permissions) can use this procedure to create variants of content items.

Make sure that the parent content item was created, as described in Create Content Items.

Make sure that you are logged in to siteAddress/tqtag, as described in Log in to tqTag Site Manager.
If the Languages and Categories navigation panel is not displayed, click .
In the navigation panel, click the relevant Category.
On the Content Items page, in the row of the content item for which you want to write a variant, under Variants, click .
On the Variants page, click New.
On the top half of the New Variant page, do the following:
1. In the Variation Type list, select the relevant variation type.
2. For other fields that you need to change, select the check box and then update that field.
Under Item Content, modify the copy of the content item displayed by default into the variant topic that you need.
Click Save.
