Shared SSL
Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols that provide security for communications over networks such as the Internet. The Shared SSL module enables a tqAdmin (with suitable permissions) to implement SSL at one of the following levels:
- Category (which also implements SSL for all sub-categories and content items)
- Link to content item (which implements SSL on the page that the link opens)
Note
You do not access the Shared SSL module from the module icon bar. Rather, you implement SSL by clicking 
on a Content Items page.
